Eligibility
If you are a parent or legal guardian of a minor child, and you provide your payment method for your child to use when registering with or accessing The Harmaleighs’ services, you agree to be bound by these terms of service in respect of your child’s use of the service. This means that by facilitating their registration and access, you are taking full responsibility for their actions and adherence to our terms.
Students using The Harmaleighs’ services may register for a Certificate Program available on the site. However, these services are not available to individuals under the age of 13. By accessing or using the service, you represent and warrant that: (i) you are at least 13 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a contract; and (ii) your registration and use of the service complies with all applicable laws and regulations. Furthermore, the service is unavailable to any users who have been previously removed by The Harmaleighs for violating these terms or any other reason.
Please note that The Harmaleighs is based in the United States, and the service is controlled and operated from within the country. We make no representations that our services are appropriate or available for use in other locations. Users who choose to access the service from other locations do so at their own initiative and are responsible for compliance with local laws.
License Grant
Subject to these terms, The Harmaleighs grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to access and use the service for personal, non-commercial purposes. This license allows you to: (i) participate in a Certificate Program during the term of that program; (ii) browse or access information about the service; and (iii) submit the necessary information to create an account.
It’s important to understand that The Harmaleighs retains all rights not expressly granted to you under these terms. We may revoke your access to the service or its content at any time, with or without cause. This means your use of the service is conditional upon your compliance with these terms, and violations may result in termination of access.
License Restrictions
When using The Harmaleighs’ service, you agree to the following restrictions:
(i) The service is for personal, non-commercial use only.
(ii) You may not rent, lease, sell, sublicense, transfer, or commercially exploit any part of the service.
(iii) You are prohibited from modifying, reverse-engineering, or attempting to derive the source code of the service.
(iv) You cannot access the service to build a competitive product or service, nor can you copy, distribute, or publicly display any part of it without explicit permission.
(v) You are not allowed to upload or distribute any viruses, worms, or harmful software, nor interfere with the operation of the service or its infrastructure.
(vi) You must not attempt unauthorized access to the service, alter its security features, or infringe upon the rights of others, including intellectual property and privacy rights.
(vii) You agree not to violate any applicable laws or engage in activities that might disrupt the normal functioning of the service.
Any misuse of the service, as described above, may result in immediate termination of your access. The use of the service is void where prohibited by law.
Community Guidelines
As a user of The Harmaleighs’ service, you agree that interacting with other users comes with certain risks, for which The Harmaleighs is not liable. By using the service, you agree not to:
- Post or upload content deemed harmful, abusive, vulgar, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable.
- Misrepresent yourself, create false identities, or manipulate content.
- Publish any illegal material or content that violates another person’s rights, including intellectual property or privacy.
- Upload unsolicited advertising or spam, intimidate or harass others, or engage in inappropriate behavior towards minors.
- Attempt to use another user’s account without permission or use data-mining techniques to gather information from the service.
Failure to comply with these guidelines could result in suspension or termination of your account.
Security
At The Harmaleighs, we prioritize the integrity and security of your personal information. However, while we take reasonable measures to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security. Unauthorized third parties may still find ways to circumvent our security measures. Therefore, by using the service, you acknowledge that you provide your personal information at your own risk.
Accuracy and Completeness of Information
The Harmaleighs does not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of the information available through the service. This includes content shared by students, other users, or third parties. We do not independently verify the information provided, and we are not responsible for any harm or damages resulting from inaccuracies.
You acknowledge that The Harmaleighs does not endorse, represent, or warrant the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any content available through the service. Users are responsible for assessing the information and using it at their discretion.
