Who We Are

Studio Programming at The Harmaleighs

At The Harmaleighs, we pride ourselves on offering a wide array of in-studio programming that caters to students of all ages and skill levels. Whether you’re seeking private lessons in most instruments, exploring the world of musical theater, or looking to groove in one of our dynamic dance classes, there’s something for everyone. Our goal is to nurture creativity and provide a supportive environment where students can grow in their chosen art form. From one-on-one instruction to exciting group sessions, we design our programs to not only teach technical skills but to inspire a lifelong passion for the arts.

Our private lessons are tailored to each student’s individual needs, whether they’re just starting their musical journey or seeking to refine advanced techniques. Group classes, such as musical theater and dance, offer students the opportunity to collaborate, build confidence, and learn the power of performance in a fun and energetic setting.

Our Students: A Diverse, Passionate Community

The Harmaleighs’ students come from all corners of the city and from various walks of life, but they all share a common thread—the love of the arts. Our community is as diverse as it is passionate, and we are proud to foster an inclusive environment where everyone feels welcome to express their creativity. Whether a beginner or an advanced artist, each student is encouraged to grow at their own pace and follow their unique artistic path.

We celebrate the individual talents and backgrounds of our students and provide opportunities for everyone to shine. The relationships formed within our walls go beyond the studio; students connect over their shared passion for music, dance, and theater, creating lasting friendships and building a sense of community that enhances their learning experience.

Our Teachers: Dedicated to Inspiring Excellence

At the heart of The Harmaleighs are our exceptional teachers—more than 100 highly-trained and passionate teaching artists who are committed to delivering top-tier arts education. Each teacher holds a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in their respective field and brings a wealth of real-world experience to the studio. From seasoned musicians to professional dancers, our instructors know what it takes to succeed in the arts and are dedicated to helping their students achieve their personal best.

Our teachers don’t just teach—they mentor, inspire, and guide students toward becoming the most confident, creative versions of themselves. By building strong rapport with students, our teaching artists create a supportive and encouraging environment where every student feels empowered to explore their artistic potential.

Performances, Parties, and Events: Celebrating Growth and Creativity

At The Harmaleighs, we believe that performing is an essential experience for any developing artist. That’s why we provide at least two performance opportunities for our students each year, allowing them to showcase their hard work and talent in front of a live audience. These performances are optional, but we strongly encourage participation, as the experience of being on stage can be transformative. It helps students build confidence, develop their presence, and understand the magic of sharing their art with others.

Beyond performances, we also host regular events that bring our community together—whether it’s a themed party, an open mic night, or a special workshop, these gatherings allow students, teachers, and families to celebrate the joy of the arts together. We view these events as an extension of our studio’s mission: to foster creativity, collaboration, and a sense of belonging in everything we do.
